I don't know how I missed this book on Amazon. I accidentally ran across it looking for books on Power BI. I'd already worked with PowerApps for 3 weeks and created a tablet app from scratch using SQL Server as a datasource and the data gateway when I discovered the book. I'm helping a small business move from Salesforce to Microsoft. I was skeptical of PowerApps no code required development but was pleasantly impressed after doing a limited version of final app. The book covers the exact same steps I went through but in a much more organized way. I spent hours searching and watching YouTube videos. It covers CDS (Common Data Service) which I looked at but decided Azure SQL DB was a better fit. It covers things I know nothing about but will eventually need. It is well written with clear descriptions. A few items are a little dated. For example it recommends using PowerApps Studio for Windows 10. The web version now far surpasses the desktop version. It will save you many weeks and much frustration starting out on PowerApps. I'll be first in line when he releases the Intermediate book.

DO NOT BUY. This book does nothing more than try to explain what PowerApps are. You can get better content search internet.I'd really like my money back.

This was a basic introduction to PowerApps. I just wish Microsoft did a better job of explaining the use of this software in general.

I have been learning PowerApps from the MS documentation and YouTube videos. It is refreshing to have the subject matter presented in this format. Very easy to understand.

Easy to follow. Chapters are mostly independent allowing to skip some. In a few hours provides more essentials than watching videos.

Its a reading for occupy professional that doesnt have tome to waste one hundred of pages.

I am more into how it works with SharePoint, but this book is great for learning power apps as a whole.

This is a great book for learning PowerApps! Easy to read and lots of great references that I continue to use even as I become proficient in the program.
