We are used to drug discourse that focuses on users almost exclusively as addicts, which then frames drug use almost indiscriminately as an act that compromise the core of individuals, both spirituality and physically. Those who use regularly and in controlled ways are instead elevated here for the knowledge they can provide to all of us, after having been silenced by the society we live in.Walker presents us with a vault of valuable material, that will remain useful in the many years to come as a foundational piece in movements aimed at social reconstruction and equity.I'd really enjoyed this piece, for it was heavy, but at no time did I feel I was receiving information that would be outdated tomorrow.
